This pillowcase pays tribute to the Mother Trees that are central to supporting our forest communities. Katrin Leblond’s artwork is inspired by the Laurentian forests that have enchanted her since childhood, as well as tree of life candelabras. Featured are two daughter trees whose roots lovingly entwine their mother tree, surrounded by a host of forest plants and creatures.
Decorative square 20”x20” is perfect for couch, bed or armchair.
Pairs well with Star Moss pillows and our matching poster.
$20 from every pillow sale supports The Mother Tree Project!
We’re proud to be donating to an environmental project whose focus on trees and mycelial networks is close to our hearts and has inspired our artwork.
This environmental charity and innovative research project investigates forest renewal practices that will protect biodiversity, carbon storage and forest regeneration as climate changes.
Led by Dr. Suzanne Simard, forest ecology professor at the University of British Columbia, the Mother Tree Project brings together academia, government, forestry companies, research forests, community forests and First Nations to identify and design successful forest renewal practices.
